Shaun Muir Racing began in 2002, born out of a passion for motorcycles and racing performance.

Operating from the north east of the UK, SMR has a strong pedigree in motorbike racing and mechanical excellence. Our team has over 50 years' worth of experience working with a variety of road and racing motorbikes, and have engineered a great deal of racing success.

We have competed in the Isle of Man TT, the Ulster Grand Prix, the North West 200, the Macau Grand Prix (x3 wins), and the British Superstock, Supersport & Superbike series.

After 13 years of competition in the British Superbike Championship which yielded titles in 2011 and 2015, our team made their debut in the Superbike World Championship in 2016. As veterans of motorcycle racing, SMR is a name that is widely revered and synonymous with success and quality.
